The Intention Of Shalat During TakbiratulIkhram Is A Reading That Is Carried Out During Shalat
The intention of shalat during takbiratulikhram is a reading that is carried out during shalat, and more precisely on takbiratulikhram. Then there was a Muslim who asked about the shalat that he had been doing, but did not use the intention, more precisely because he did not know what to read the intention? and here is the explanation
The Muslim questions are: AssalamualaikumUstaz, I want to ask, What is the procedure for the intention to pray, what is the procedure for the intention to pray, which is taught by the Prophet, is it accompanied by Takbiratul Ihram?
actually Allah subhanahuwata’ala makes it easy for all of us, to be able to imitate the Prophet sallallaahu ‘alayhiwasallam, in that question he said he may have heard that the intention in prayer must coincide with takbiratul ihram.
We need to understand that the intentions taught by the Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihiwasallam are intentions that are in the heart, and he once said, that all deeds are in accordance with his intentions, and a person will get what he intended.
From this the scholars stated that the intention in worship is one of the conditions that will make the worship valid or not, and intention is the practice that will make the worship accepted or not by Allah.
Allah will make that person perfect, by getting a reward or not in worship because of intention. So we need to know that when we do or want to do an activity, whatever its form, of course we have an intention, when we want to eat we have an intention, when we want to work we have an intention, so when we worship, the impulse that is in us in our hearts that is what is meant by intention.
So when a Muslim, for example the midday prayer, upon hearing the midday call to prayer, we are moved to take ablution water, then go to the mosque for men, to pray plural prayers, or for mothers who take ablution water and then they take a mukena to perform prayer .
Then they all face the Qibla. Where is the intention to pray, so the easiest intention is when the Muslims stand facing the Qiblah, that is the intention, as when you come to the mosque, that is where the intention is to pray.
When praying at the time that comes, then that is the intention of praying, so it is quite simple actually the intention taught by the Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihiwasallam.
Therefore, we need to remind, we need to convey, that the intention referred to by the Prophet sallallaahu ‘AlaihiWassalam and the same as that described by the scholars is an intention whose form is an impulse.
As for when we want to carry out worship, intention is not a word that we often have difficulty in memorizing, or we are often confused, when we want to do a worship, and do not know the intention.
Take for example the prayer recommended by the Prophet after we perform ablution, namely shalatSunnahba’da or qobla, we have difficulty memorizing the intention, so that it makes Muslims not carry out the shalatsunnah, or when they want to fast last Monday and Thursday, they question what their intentions are.
So it should be quite simple, actually when you have an impulse in your heart like standing facing the Qiblah, that is the intention, indeed Allah knows best what his servant does. so once again the intention is not the words we chant when doing an act of worship,
that was the explanation of intention, in fact we will not be able to get a charity, or a job or deed without a prior intention, and actually intention is easy, hopefully this will be an explanation for all of us, thank you bye.
