1. Nuzulul Quran
The events that occur in the month of Ramadan are Nuzulul Qur’an (the revelation of the Qur’an). The event of Nuzulul Qur’an is usually commemorated every 17th of Ramadan.
The term Nuzulul Qur’an is often understood as the decline of the Qur’an from lauhulmahfuz to Baitul Izzah in the sky of the world. As the word of God, the Qur’an can bring a bright light to the life of the entire universe. Through the instructions given by God, humans can carry out activities properly and correctly so as not to cause damage and harm to other creatures.
As a way of life, the Qur’an brings rules of life in the field of worship and in the social field. In matters of worship, it is usually stated in the science of fiqh which explores the procedures for performing a worship. And in the social field, it is usually discussed in the science of Sufism, which regulates the purpose of human beings and what are the functions of humans created by God.
Therefore, the Nuzulul Qur’an event should be commemorated with worship that increases our good deeds. For example, multiply dhikr, prayer, and other worship to honor the glory of the Koran.
