Courtesy is very important in everyday life. We will be appreciated and respected by others if we show a polite attitude. Other people feel comfortable with our presence. On the other hand, if we behave impolitely, other people will not appreciate and respect us. People who have good manners are able to position themselves appropriately in various situations. Courtesy can be applied anywhere and anytime, because politeness is the embodiment of our way of being kind.
The association of fellow students at school will be harmonious and beautiful if decorated with a polite attitude. For example, greeting friends by saying “assalamualaikum” with a smile, respecting classmates and loving classmates by caring for them, obeying school rules, respecting teachers and administrative staff, speaking gentle words to anyone and taking care of the feelings of the residents. school, office or the surrounding community by not hurting his heart. If you do this behavior, it will really create a safe, peaceful, and happy life. The atmosphere of studying, working, or otherwise will be very pleasant and in the end your achievement or career will increase.
A child must respect and love both parents. The form of our respect and affection for parents, including speaking politely to both of them. All the advice of parents must be obeyed wholeheartedly because they have cared for and educated us since childhood. Especially as a mother, her services are priceless. Starting from conceiving, giving birth, caring for, and raising their children with love.
Likewise a father, works hard to earn a living for the survival of the family. Remember that the willingness or pleasure of Allah swt is the pleasure of parents. Therefore, we must show a polite attitude to respect both of them.
If your house has a maid, should she also be treated with courtesy? A maid must also be treated with courtesy. Politeness and courtesy must also be shown in the association in society. As social beings, we always need other people. Therefore other people should be treated well. Other people referred to here are friends, friends, and neighbors. Especially to neighbors, Rasulullah SAW taught us to glorify them. When the family is in trouble, the neighbors will help us. We respect and implement the rights and obligations of neighbors. Let’s not hurt them with bad behavior and dirty words.
In Q.S al-Baqarah verse 83 Allah Almighty commands us to speak kind words to humans. Friends, relatives, teachers, and parents must be treated well. Saying and behaving politely to them will increase our self-esteem. We will be respected and respected when we are also respected by others. It’s like smiling, when we smile the image in the mirror smiles at us. On the other hand, if we frown, the image in the mirror will also frown at us. In fact, if we are kind to others, actually the good deeds will return to ourselves. On the other hand, when we behave badly towards others, the act will actually return to ourselves.
Many fights are triggered by dirty words and insults to each other. If someone mocks and insults us, we should refrain. We treat it wisely, patiently and cautiously. If we are provoked by anger, we will lose. Life becomes uncomfortable, worry and anxiety will come to us.
There are many benefits that can be obtained from being polite, including the following:

- Loved by Allah swt and His messenger. Allah swt loves His servants who have a polite attitude. Rasulullah saw is like that, even he also has an extraordinary gentle and polite attitude
