Taking Lessons From the Battle of Uhud

Muslimcreed.com – Every incident has a lesson to be learned. Events that can be learned from it, we don’t have to go through it.

We can learn from past people or stories that have happened.

One of them is the story of the Uhud war. Lessons from the Uhud war.

This is the Messenger of Allah to know who the hypocrites are in his ranks. If there is no problem, if there is no test of the treasure, its true nature does not come out.

Once it starts to waver, we’ll know who it is. Came bad news, others were affected. From there the quality of the friend.

When a company is tested for unity, it is tested for cohesiveness. There are people taking the line below.

If this person is in trouble he will join the provocation and influence. If a healthy person, if a normal person, people who understand he will not be affected / provoked.

From this story, we can prepare steps to be aware and understand the conditions around us. That there are some traits or types of humans around us.

Then we should respond wisely. So nothing bad happens.

Or in other cases, we can correct ourselves. Where do you position yourself? Are we classified as bad people? Or we are on the right track.

If I ask you, “who won the battle of Uhud?”. Of course without a doubt you will answer, “The polytheists”. A series of reasons and evidence submitted:

The number of Muslims who died more

Many of the heroes of Islam were martyred, such as Hamzah and Mus’ab bin ‘Umair radiyallahu anhuma.

The Muslims left the battlefield, and retreated towards the mountains.

And a number of other reasons.

I said, “You are right, at that time it was the Muslims who suffered defeat, if we look at it from the point of view of losses during the war. But if we look at the values that the Muslims learned from the Uhud war, I can confidently say that the Muslims won in the Uhud war”.

Explanation:

When the Muslims felt the bitterness of defeat at the battle of Uhud, they realized what the cause of the defeat was, and with what way they would achieve victory. Before the battle of Uhud, it was Saturday morning, the Messenger of Allah sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam had warned that the archers who were on the hill of the House (its real name was the hill of ‘Ainain) remained in their place, even though the Muslims had won or suffered defeat.

The fire of war lit up, swords grabbed, arrows missed from their bows, spears were thrust, many lives were lost, the Muslims attacked, advanced heroically as knights, the victory had shown a smile, the polytheists fled from the battlefield full of fear.

At that time, on the hill House the archers began to quarrel, most of them said, “We have won, let’s go down to be with our brothers”.

The leader of the troops Abdullah bin Jubair radiyallahu’anhu reminded, “Stay where you are, because the Prophet ordered us to stay on the hill, in a state we win or we lose”.

“The order of the Prophet was in a state of war, now the war is over and the enemy has fled”, they reasoned. Then 40 of the 50 archers came down from the hill of Rummah.

The leader of the cavalry of the polytheists Khalid bin Walid (before converting to Islam) saw that most of the archers had left his place, so he swiftly attacked the Muslim troops from behind. The rest of the archers on the hill whose job was to protect the back of the Muslims could not face the horsemen of the polytheists.

The situation turned around, the light of victory that had begun to appear was hiding again, defeat was finally felt, the physical wounds and bitterness of their defeat were swallowed so heavily.

But they realized, the cause of defeat: violated one command of the Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi Wasallam. They will get the key to victory and Allah Ta’ala’s help is to obey the commands of Allah and His Messenger. Because defeat is known, the key to victory is in hand. So after the battle of Uhud the Muslims always won.

Lessons from the victory during the caliphate of Abu Bakr Ash Siddiq

After the Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wasallam died, sadness struck. Even chaos occurred in the newly established Islamic caliphate, false prophets appeared, many Arab tribes did not want to pay zakat, the security of the city of Medina, the capital of the Islamic State, was threatened. At that time Abu Bakr radiyallahu’anhu as Caliph ordered that the troops of Osama bin Zaid radiyallahu’anhu be dispatched immediately. The troops formed by the Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wasallam to fight the Arab tribes in the border area with the land of Sham, the Arab tribes who had fought the Muslims along with the Roman army.

Many of the companions did not agree with the decision of Abu Bakr radiyallahu’anhu. Medina is being threatened from enemy attacks, Osama’s troops should strengthen the defense of the city of Medina. Others argued that even if Usamah’s troops had to be dispatched, the commander would be replaced, because Usamah was still too young to lead an army.

Abu Bakr radiyallahu’anhu had known the secret of victory, which many of his companions neglected to do because the burden of the death of the Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wasallam was very heavy. He firmly said, “I will still send Osama’s troops, even though I have to go alone”. He said, “Shall I change a flag (an army), which the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) has flown?

What happened?

Osama’s troops won, because of that many Arab tribes finally submitted to the Caliph of the Muslims, because they knew that the Caliph of the Muslims could not send troops out of Medina, unless they had a strong defense to defend the city of Medina.

We want to achieve victory and glory again for the Muslims? Remember the battle of Uhud, remember Abu Bakr and Osama’s army. Then we look at ourselves, where is the sunnah of the Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wasallam located? And where are we located?

Following the path of the Sunnah is victory.
