Why did Fatimah never narrate the Hadith? Turns out this is the reason

Muslimcreed – Fatimah az Zahra is the daughter of the Prophet Muhammad and Khadijah al Kubra. She is the fourth daughter of the Prophet Muhammad. He has many nicknames, among them are: Az Zahra (who shines brilliantly), Siddiqah (who justifies), Thahirah (the holy one), Mubarakah (the blessed one), Radhiyah (the one who is pleased), Mardhiyah (the one who is blessed), Muhadatsah (the blessed one). who talked to angels in childhood), and Batul.

Most Shia historians and Ahlussunah believe that Fatimah az Zahra was born on the 20th Jumadil Tsani, the fifth year the Prophet was sent to Mecca al Mukarramah. Some historians say that he was born in the third or second year when the Prophet was sent.

A historian and Sunni hadith expert argues that Fatimah was born in the first year the Prophet was sent. It is clear that revealing facts about the birthdays and deaths of great figures in history—even though from a historical and research point of view, is valuable and worthy of study—but from a personality analysis point of view, it is not so important.

What is important and foremost is their role in determining human destiny and history. It is worth contemplating that Fatimah az Zahra was educated at the madrasa of her father, the Messenger of Allah, which incidentally is the house of prophethood. A house where revelations and verses of the Qur’an were revealed.

Fatimah is one of the first group of Muslims who believe in Allah and she is so strong and steadfast in her faith. At that time the house where Fatimah lived was the only house in the Arabian Peninsula and the world that shouted the voice of monotheism: “Allahu Akbar”. Az Zahra is the only young woman in Mecca who smells and feels the scent of monotheism around her. He was at home alone. He spent his childhood alone.

His two sisters, Ruqayyah and Kulthum, were several years older than him. Perhaps the secret behind this solitude is that from childhood Fatimah had to focus her attention on physical training and spiritual education.

After marrying Amirul Mukminin Ali bin Abi Talib, Fatimah emerged as an exemplary woman of all time. The daughter of the Holy Prophet is not only an example for husband and wife life and a portrait of an ideal Muslim family, but she is also an example in matters of obedience and worship to Allah SWT.

Sayyidah Fatimah Az-Zahra radhiyallahu ‘anha (Rha) is the closest person to the Prophet Muhammad sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam (SAW). However, this beloved daughter of Rasulullah SAW never narrated the Prophet’s Hadith. Meanwhile, the husband of Ali bin Abi Talib RA narrated many hadiths. What’s the reason?

According to the preacher who is also the Director of the Indonesian Fiqh House Ustaz Ahmad Sarwat, a person’s closeness to the Prophet Muhammad has nothing to do with the number of hadiths they narrate. Don’t we rarely hear the hadith narrated by Abu Bakr Ash-Siddiq? Likewise with the history of Umar and Uthman bin Affan radhiyallahu ‘anhum?

For almost the same reason, the same thing happened to the beloved daughter of the Prophet, Fatimah radhiyallahu ‘anha. Although fairly close, it does not necessarily have many Prophetic Hadiths narrated.

To note, the nature of narrating hadith can only be taught when the Prophet SAW has died. If the Prophet was still alive, then the one who taught it would be the Prophet Muhammad. The cause of the companions did not teach a lot of hadith because they were burdened with busyness that was their responsibility. It could also be because he is not long.

Ahlul Bait and friends who died when the Prophet SAW was facing God, one of them was Fatimah Az-Zahra who died only a few months after the death of the Prophet. Of course he did not have time to narrate many hadiths. He lived not long after the Prophet died.

Historians say the Prophet’s daughter died only 5 months later from the Prophet. This is what causes Muslims today to rarely accept the hadith narrated by Fatima. The situation of Fatimah is different from that of the wife of the Prophet Muhammad, Aisyah radhiyallahu ‘anha. He lived until the year 57, or 58 or 59 Hijriyah.

He also became a reference for matters related to the household life of the Prophet. And he also narrated many hadiths of a technical nature as well as the companions of Abu Hurairah RA.

Apart from Fatima, the closest friend of the Prophet, namely Abu Bakr radhiallahu anhu (RA) also rarely narrated hadith. In fact, Abu Bakr is a human who understands the most about the Prophet Muhammad SAW, compared to all people. Then why did Abu Bakr rarely narrate hadith?

The answer is simple, because the distance between the death of the Prophet was not too long. Abu Bakr died two years after the Prophet Muhammad died. Meanwhile, during those two years, Abu Bakr was busy with various internal problems of Muslims. So naturally if he did not have time to teach hadith.

The daily life of Abu Bakr after the death of the Prophet Muhammad was the busiest days. He is the caliph, where he has the obligation to continue to lead the Islamic world, which is experiencing various pressures from within and from outside. This is the answer why we rarely receive hadith from Fatima and Abu Bakr.
