Being a woman certainly cannot be separated from the arrival of menstruation every month, especially when Ramadan arrives, it is not possible to fast and some worship cannot be done, such as prayer and some other worship. Therefore, entering the month of Ramadan, of course, these women will not forget the arrival of the ‘monthly guest’.
Talking about worship, a woman who is menstruating will also feel tremendous fatigue. In fact, many have to feel all day in bed when menstruation feels more gripping, so it is not uncommon for some to faint and of course will be more lazy.
Obstetrics and Gynecology Research noted, women who are in a state of menstruation, will lose productivity because of symptoms related to hormones because a lot of blood comes out. The survey of women who were menstruating totaled 748 .
Even so, there are some practices during menstruation that can be done to maintain faith and get closer to Allah and can be done easily.
Here are things that can be done so that women can calm down even in a state of menstruation:
1. Dhikr
Dhikr is an act of worship that is recommended for anyone and can be done whenever there is a lot of dhikr. In fact, this can be a practice that women can do when they are menstruating.
The woman can read various thayyibah sentences such as tasbih, tahmid, takbir, tahlil and others as a practice during menstruation that gives blessings. Dhikr can also be done to ask Allah for forgiveness by doing istighfar and repenting.
The fuqaha (fiqh experts) agree that the three points of worship, namely istighfar, remembrance, and prayer, are not required to do so in a state of purity from hadas both major and minor hadas. Therefore, this can be a practice when menstruation is carried out by women.
Even though he is big, there is no prohibition for him to do istighfar, dhikr and pray all the time as long as he can. Although it is not permissible to perform the obligatory prayers, but dhikr and remembering Allah as much as possible are certainly not prohibited.
2. Pray
Similar to dhikr, praying is usually done by anyone and at any time. Prayer can also contain an effort to get closer to Allah and become a practice during menstruation.
Because praying is something that Allah commands at all times and can be done at any time, a woman who is in a state of junub is allowed to read any prayer.
During menstruation, women can still practice daily prayers such as al-Matsurat which is a collection of daily prayers practiced by the Prophet.
3. Listening to the recitation of the holy Qur’an
Although there is still much debate between whether or not it is permissible to hold or listen to the Qur’an, it is better not to leave the entire Qur’an because the verses of the Qur’an are a guideline for Muslims that should not be forgotten. So a good way out is to listen to it.
4. Listening toTausiyah and Seeking Knowledge
Menstruating women are allowed to attend religious studies, both to listen to tausiyah, increase faith, and seek knowledge. Everything will become a practice during menstruation which in addition to bringing rewards, also increases knowledge and knowledge.
In a hadith narrated by a Muslim imam, that a person who takes a path to seek knowledge, surely Allah swt. Will give and show the way to heaven for him.
In addition to listening to tausiyah directly coming at the scientific assembly, listening to tausiyah as a practice during menstruation can also be done by listening to it on the radio, watching it on television, or streaming it on internet pages about broad science, without having to be pegged on religious knowledge.
5. Give charity
The practice during the next menstruation is giving charity.
Giving alms can be done in various ways, starting from giving compensation to the poor, orphans to just spreading a smile of kindness to others.
In terms of charity, the Prophet Muhammad also called in a hadith. The Messenger of Allah said: “O women! Give charity and increase istighfar. Because, I see that women are the most inhabitants of hell.” (Hadith of Muslim History).
6. Stay in touch
Staying in touch is one of the easiest practices during menstruation.
Doing hospitality by visiting relatives, friends, and relatives can increase the reward and open the door of sustenance among fellow believers. Staying in touch can be done through electronic media, visiting homes, or doing social activities.
By staying in touch, women can spend time with other people for a moment and forget for a moment the fatigue that will be paid off with joy because they can meet each other and joke.
Come on, for those of you who are women, don’t be discouraged to keep looking for good deeds as long as you are given time even though you are menstruating.
Wallohua’lam.
